Currently receiving individual volunteers and large groups of volunteers to pack supplies that will be distributed in the days/weeks to come.

Serve with Samaritan’s Purse

If you are local to the area we welcome you to serve for the day. Please contact our site at 501-553-2890 at least 24 hours in advance to be scheduled to serve. Please arrive at our host location: First Baptist Church of Sherwood, 701 Country Club Road, Sherwood, AR 72120. Orientation takes place at 7:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will work Monday – Saturday, beginning Monday, April 3, 2023 at 7:30am. Day volunteers will need to bring a bagged lunch, water, and hand sanitizer.

Serve through The CALL Support Center

Prepare and deliver frozen meals and gift cards to families in need. Location: 4020 Woodlands Heights Road, Little Rock 8:30 – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday 501-823-0607 www.thecallinarkansas.org

Host Home to First Responders & Displaced Families

Many families whose homes were destroyed were given temporary hotel vouchers, but they will need temporary housing as they wait for homes to be repaired and/or find new, permanent housing.

Prayer Walk Over the Impacted Areas

Please pray for the families impacted by this tornado and for all of the first responders and disaster relief crews responding. Pray that the Lord would open doors for the gospel as churches respond to the needs of everyone impacted. If able, offer assist however you can, for example:

  • Helping families pack and remove possessions from the home
  • Offering to cook/bring them a meal
  • Encouraging, praying with, and serving the first responders

  • Please pray for continued relief and encouragement for those personally impacted from the recent tornado disaster, including several staff and members of our church body.
  • Pray for many first responders and emergency personnel still working diligently to restore power and keep our communities safe.
